Over the
last six years, Galleon Software has built a tightly integrated crew of
talented software developers with diverse backgrounds and a well rounded
set of skills.
Colin
Biggin, President
Colin earned a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.
He has worked for such companies as IBM and Northern Telecom, and was
the first full-time programmer hired by SoftArc, Inc. in 1991. Together
with Scott Appleton, he founded Galleon Software in March 1996.
Scott
Appleton, Vice-president of development
While working at SoftArc, Inc. as a software developer, Scott earned a
Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from the University of
Toronto.
Roy Schulze,
Director of Communications
Roy earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto in Computer
Science and Geography. He began his career as an applications programmer
but soon moved into technical writing and graphic design. He was manager
of Documentation and Design at SoftArc, Inc. but left to join Galleon
Software in October of 1996.
John
Bell, Senior Developer
John earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto in Computer
Science and Mathematics. He started working for Galleon Software as a
software developer in 1999.
Maury
Markowitz,
Senior Developer
Maury earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Laurentian
University. He began his career at SoftArc, Inc. in customer support and
quality assurance, moved into software development in 1995, and has worked
with Galleon Software on a number of projects.
Randy
MacCarthy, Intermediate Developer
Randy earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from
the University of Waterloo. He joined Galleon Software for a co-op work
term in April of 2000.
